Joel Arthur Held, passed away on August 5, 2023, at the age of 66. Joel was proudly involved in the Minneapolis Jewish Community for several years, including as a former active chapter advisor for BBYO. He was also dedicated to the family owned business, Twin City Supply, a legacy that has been passed through three generations. He loved professional wrestling, music, science fiction, and taking his father’s antique Model A for drives and to auto shows. He was preceded in death by his parents, Judge Samuel and Orel Held. Joel left behind his loving wife of 42 years, Lois Held; daughter, Carrie (Ben) Snyder; son, Jason (Jacquelyn) Held; grandson, Oliver Snyder; and granddaughters, Harlow and Tenley Held. Joel will be missed by his siblings, as well as many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends. Funeral service WEDNESDAY, August 9, 2023 at 1:30pm at Beth El Synagogue, 5225 Barry Street W., St. Louis Park.
