Vann, David C. 64; passed away peacefully at home in the early hours on August 18, 2021. Dave is survived by his wife and soulmate, of 36 years, Barb; sons, Grant (Alyssa) and Jake (Greta); granddaughter, James; siblings, Kathleen (Stu) Bautz and Linda Vann (Jon Towley); sisters-in-law, Kat Vann and Shelli Star; brother-in-law, Dean Norcutt (Stacey Doolittle); father-in-law, Del Norcutt; along with many other nieces, nephews and friends that are more like family. Preceded in death by parents, Leon and Gayle; brother, Steve; mother- in-law, Maxene Norcutt; sister-in- law, Holly Kappes and several friends that are close to his heart. Dave left us too soon, but he did leave us with a life of memories, love, and laughter. His legacy is seen by the impact he had on so many people – both brief encounters and deeply grown relationships. Put simply, the world is a better place because of Dave. Memorial Service 3 PM on Sunday, August 22, at Brookview Golf Course; 316 Brookview Parkway S, Golden Valley, MN 55426. Visitation will occur from 1-3 PM at Brookview. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Barb Vann with funds being re-directed to the Dave Vann Foundation. Details of the foundation can be found at Dave’s caring bridge site.
