Karen Rae Harris (64) of Apple Valley, MN, beloved wife of Thomas R. Harris and loved mother of Robert C. Harris passed on July 5th, 2021. Karen graced our lives and will be with us as we will be with her, forever and always.
Karen was born in Long Beach, CA on December 28, 1956. She moved to Minnesota with her family and attended St. Louis Park High School where she was a Parkette dancer and a Vikings cheerleader. Before she retired, Karen enjoyed a career of 28 years as a Flight Attendant for Northwest/Delta Airlines.
She passed into God’s arms after a 20 month battle with cancer and was preceded in passing by her parents Robert J. and Arlyn M. Colsen. She is survived by her sister Debra L. Roepke. Karen will be missed by her family and many friends.
Karen was a loving, happy and giving person throughout her life. She loved her home, socializing with friends and family, downhill skiing, ocean beaches and traveling. She enjoyed walking in the woods and fields with her spaniels Beau and Arrow, who await her in heaven. Dax and Gillie, her loving puppies at home, will miss her until they’re together again.
